Seasoning

  • 3 cloves of garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 1 onion peeled and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of curry
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt, parsley, freshly ground white pepper, to taste

Preparation mode

Wash the jackfruit well under running water. Rub the oil on your hands and knife and cut the jackfruit into pieces. Wash again to get all the milk released by the fruit. Transfer the jackfruit to a pressure cooker, cover with water. close and cook for 40 minutes. After, remove from the fire, wait for the pressure to release and drain the water. Let the jackfruit cool and discard the skin. Afterwards, shred the pulp and set aside.

Seasoning

In a pan, add the oil and place over medium heat to heat. Then add the garlic and onion and sauté until golden. add the meat of jackfruit, the curry and the lemon juice and stir well. Season with salt, parsley, parsley and black pepper. Let it cool for another 5 minutes. Serve immediately.

  • 1 green pepper cut into strips
  • Salt and chopped parsley to taste
  • Water

Preparation mode

Remove the inner skin of the shells (white part). In a container with water and vinegar, place the peels and leave them to sauce for 15 minutes. Then, drain the water and cut the banana peels into strips. In a pan, add the oil and place over medium heat to heat. Add the garlic and onion and sauté until golden. Add the peppers and let it cook for 5 minutes. Finally, add the peel strips and cook until soft. Turn off the fire, season with salt and green smell and serve immediately.

  • 1/2 kg of wheat flour
  • 1 teacup of water
  • 50 ml of soy sauce
  • 1 clove of garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 1 onion peeled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of ready-made tomato sauce
  • 1 strand of olive oil
  • Water

Preparation mode

In a container, place the wheat flour and water and mix until you get a homogeneous mass. Shape the dough into a ball, cover with water and let it soak for 8 hours. Afterwards, place the dough in a colander and wash it under running water until the water released starts to become transparent. Drain the water well and shape the seitan as desired. Reserve.

In a pressure cooker, add the oil and heat over medium heat. Then add the onion and garlic and let it brown well. Add water, tomato sauce and soy sauce and bring to a boil. Put the seitan, cover the pan and let it cook for 20 minutes after getting the pressure. Turn off the heat, wait for all the pressure to release. Place the seitan with the broth in a container and leave it in the fridge for approximately 6 hours. After, drain the broth, fry the seitan in a skillet with olive oil and serve immediately.

Tip: serve the seitan sprinkled with parsley and a sauce of your choice.
